The Bourg Walk Bridge at Southcourt

The award winning Southcourt Bridge project in Aylesbury was an interesting challenge. Aylesbury Vale commissioned a footbridge over the railway to help pedestrians have easier access from the railway to the local amenities. It's an unusual footbridge in that it is suspended by wires from a central column.

Control Lighting Ltd were commissioned to come up with an imaginative way of controlling the lighting of the supporting central column.

We created a very attractive colour changing sequence with two major omissions from our usual palette of colours. Given the proximity of the busy railway line, you will be reassured to know that we didn't use any variant of RED or GREEN in our colour sequences!

Joking apart, our lighting and colour choices were co-ordinated with the Railway Authorities as you would expect!
